プロレスファンの皆さん、こんにちは。
今回は、全日本からプロレスリング・
ノアと活躍を続けてきた
橋誠さん
についてご紹介していこうと思います。
引退後の橋さんはどのような第2の
人生を送っていらっしゃるのでしょうか？
最後までお付き合いください。
橋誠のこれまでと引退の理由は？
まずは、プロフィールからご紹介して
いきましょう。
- 本名：橋誠
- 身長：180㎝
- 体重：100㎏
- 生年月日：1977年5月10日
- 出身地：広島県福山市
- スポーツ歴：柔道
- デビュー日：1998年3月25日
- 引退日：2012年6月1日
橋さんは、高校時代に柔道を経験し、
卒業後は建設会社に入社するのですが、
どうしてもプロレスラーになる夢を
諦めることができず、自分で
トレーニングを重ね続け、
全日本プロレスの新人オーディションに
応募して、1997年に合格し入団します。
同期には森嶋猛さん、ほぼ同期の後輩
が丸藤正道選手で、入団当時は
川田利明さんの付き人も務めていました。
しかし、全日本プロレスの分裂騒動が
勃発して、全日本を退団し
プロレスリング・ノアの旗揚げに参加
することになりましたので、川田さん
とはたもとを分かつことになって
しまいます。
その後は、秋山準選手の付き人を
務めることになりました。
デビューから4年目、丸藤選手が
持っているGHCジュニアヘビー級王座に
挑戦することになったのですが、
その試合中に丸藤選手が負傷してしまい、
レフェリー・ストップで勝利して
新チャンピオンとなります。
しかし、試合内容と丸藤選手がけがを
してしまっての勝利だったということ
だったため、橋さんは納得いかず、
試合直後に王座を返上します。
その後は、ジュニア王座に就くことは
なく2005年にヘビー級転向を表明し、
それと同時に当時加入していた秋山選手の
ユニットも卒業しました。
しかし、卒業した後も秋山選手の私生活
の世話や運転手など行動を共にすると
いうことについては変わらず行って、
秋山さんの個人会社が販売していた
水の配達までしていたのです。
橋さんがGHCジュニアのベルトの奪取した
ものの、返上してから実はベルトには
絡んでいませんでした。
しかし、6年の年月の末、2008年に
ようやくグローバル・ハードアコア・
クラウン王座を納得できる形で奪取する
ことに成功し、2度の防衛も果たして
きました。
2009年小橋建太さんに敗れ、王座から
陥落することになってしまいましたが、
一番報われたことのひとつだったと
いえます。
2009年で、契約満了となりフリーに
転身してレスラーとして活動も続け
ながら並行してフィットネスクラブに
勤務するようになりました。
フリーになってからもノアに参戦
しながらも、DRAGON GATEなどに参戦
するようになります。
ただ、2011年5月に首の負傷を理由に
プロレスラーとしての活動を休業を発表
したのですが、休業したまま1年が経過
して2012年6月橋さんのブログで引退を
発表しました。
特に、引退試合やセレモニーも行われず
静かにプロレス界から身を引くことに
なったのです。
それでも、2012年の秋山選手の20周年
記念大会では花束を渡す姿を見ること
ができました。
橋誠の現在は？
橋さんは、フリー転身後、フィットネス
クラブにも務めてきていましたが、引退
してからも続けているのでしょうか？
現在、橋さんは全国に展開をする
ストレッチ専門店である「Dr.ストレッチ」
を運営する株式会社フュービックという
会社で施術する方の育成トレーナーとして
活躍をされています。
新人スタッフが、プロのトレーナーと
なるために、「技術」「知識」「接客」
そして「人間性」を育てるべく研修を
担当している非常に重要なポジションに
いらっしゃいます。
こう見るといきなりトレーナーになった
ように見えますが、実際にはこちらの
店舗で店長を務めたうえで今の
ポジションにいるということです。
橋さんがプロレスラーだからどうという
ことではなく、地道にコツコツと仕事に
取り組んでこられた結果というのが、
とても苦労されているんだと感じ
させられます。
橋誠は結婚をしている？
橋さんは、2006年に結婚をされています。
奥様はどなたかということは申し訳
ありませんが、わかりませんでした。
しかし、橋さんのブログでは、写真を
